Camp Noah is a weeklong, faith-based day camp offered for elementary-age children in grades K-6 who have experienced disaster. It is staffed by trained camp counselors and is supported additionally by a local mental health professional. Camp Noah combines disaster recovery support for children with fun-filled recreation to form a unique and healing experience!

Daily Schedule

  • 8:00 AM Breakfast, childcare (optional)
  • 9:00 AM Opening worship
  • 9:30 AM Bible Study/Disaster Processing
  • 10:30 AM Craft, Snack, Games, Songs
  • 12:00 Lunch
  • 12:30 PM Entertainment, Rest Games, Relaxation
  • 1:10 PM Games, Electives, Special Speakers or Events
  • 2:30 PM Closing Worship
  • 3:00 PM Childcare (optional)
  • 3:00 PM Staff Debriefing/Preparation
  • 4:30 PM All Children Home
  • Camp Staff and Volunteer Free Time

How to Have a Camp in Your Area:
Camp Noahs are often held in churches, schools and community centers. If children in your area have been affected by disaster (natural or human-caused), Camp Noah might be a great opportunity for them to play, process and heal from their experience. These camps are offered at no cost to children thanks to generous financial and in-kind donations from community partners.
